The History of this Pendulum Clock

 

Killinchy Clocks is a family run woodworking company that makes pendulum clocks with all components made entirely from wood.

 

The original craftsman Joseph Thompson designed and created the clocks from a workshop at Ardview Road Killinchy. The workshop was then taken over by Barry Hobson a retired dentist from Killinchy. More recently the business was run by Charles Raith Brown and Dick Ransom who added another design to the portfolio.

 

In October 2014 the workshop was taken over by Peter Martin who has extensive woodwork skills, but is now serving his apprenticeship in Clock Making from the former owners.
